Our photography experience with Sherry was simply wonderful.  Our daughter Claire, was a bit of an introvert and she loved animals.  Reading and photography were her main hobbies.  We were limited in our schedule of when Claire would feel well enough (due to chemotherapy and radiation treatment) to smile and enjoy a senior photo session.  December ended up being the month we scheduled with Sherry.  I was wary of Claire’s stamina, the gray wintry backdrop, and if Sherry would be able to capture the essence of her quiet personality, I soon realized I had nothing to worry about as we were dealing with a true professional who was gifted with an abundance of artistic talent.  I wish I could share all of the photos Sherry took of Claire with you.  She did an amazing job!Claire passed away in August of 2016.  The photos Sherry took are even more cherished now.  We are so grateful to Sherry for her generosity too.  Because of Claire’s cancer diagnosis, a teacher of Claire’s nominated her for this photo scholarship with Sherry.  We felt so blessed to be chosen for the scholarship and to meet and work with Sherry.  Kristy Lange

My daughter and I had the pleasure of Sherry doing my daughter’s senior pictures.  We were so impressed to say the least.  Sherry has great ideas on where to take pictures and her yard has such neat props all over to use.  My daughter also had some ideas and Sherry was more then willing to use her ideas, she came to our home to make the session more personal.   I’m not sure how to pick out a favorite picture, all of them were awesome. Sherry is a true professional – she’s able to get several great shots without having to take hundreds in the process!  She is an artist with a great eye for getting that “perfect shot”.  She has the ability to really bring out the personality of her subjects in the photos, and she makes the effort to understand their interests, passions and personal style.  The biggest challenge has been in picking out just a few favorites from what she shot – I think I have more like 15-20 “favorites”! With all the photographers out there, it is so hard to know who will be the best choice in regards to senior pictures, but I am convinced that I chose the best when I decided to work with you! My pictures turned out better than I ever could have imagined and I had such a blast while at the photo shoot! Inspired Portrait, where do I begin. For starters, Sherry is an outstanding photographer with great passion for what she does. Every session, no matter how small, leaves you with a beautiful story that can be cherished for a life time. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with capturing all of life’s greatest moments. My 17 year old son was less than interested in senior photos. He isn’t an athlete and didn’t have any hobbies or have anything he felt strongly about. We went to our session with Sherry and in a short time had some fun and creative photos. Working with Sherry is the best! Lisa Trueblood,

 Everytime I watch a slide show that you make from maternity sessions to family or couples for someone, I ball my eyes out. I just watched amanda’s slide show and broke into tears! I want to say thank you so much, again, for the senior pictures. It felt so great when you called me and told me that you had chosen me for the scholarship. I tell everybody my story when they see one of my pictures. They all really think it’s so sweet of you to do what you did! And on top of how generous your scholarship is, the pictures turned out AMAZING! Your work is so great! I love everything about my pictures! Thank you so so so so much Sherry! The experience my family had at Inspired Portrait was phenomenal! We had family/maternity photos done and they turned out beautifully!
